The story behind Daggie Dog
Share
Daggie Dog wasn’t created in a boardroom or a lab. It was born from brokenness, from healing, and from the messy, beautiful truth that life doesn’t always go to plan.
Three years ago, I walked away from a high-flying corporate life—title, paycheck, all of it. I thought I had everything figured out until the ground beneath me gave way. My marriage ended, my sense of identity crumbled, and I found myself staring down the barrel of ‘what now?’ The silence that followed was deafening. But in that silence, two misfit mutts walked into my life—Luna and Spike.
Luna, the wise one with the patient eyes. Spike, the rascal who could chew through a steel gate if you dared him. Rescued from different corners of a system that failed them, they became my shadow, my joy, and eventually—my spark.
Daggie Dog began with a single belief: you don’t need to be perfect to be accepted. It was true for me. It was true for them. And now it’s true for every person and pup we serve.
We craft natural, single-source protein treats—no nasties, no fillers, just the good stuff. But that’s just the product. The mission is bigger: to build a sustainable social enterprise that gives people overlooked by the system a shot at redefining their future. Whether they’ve been out of work, out of hope, or just out of luck, Daggie Dog offers more than a job. It offers purpose, dignity, and ownership.
I’m bringing 30 years of global business experience to something deeply personal. I’ve built systems from scratch, mapped go-to-market strategies, secured funding, and put governance structures in place to grow this into something real and lasting. But more than that, I’m building a community. One where scruffy is a style, imperfection is embraced, and every bag of treats tells a bigger story.
This isn’t just a business. It’s a movement. Welcome to Daggie Dog.
